video on how to determine your skin undertone. to do these tests, you'll want to visit aplace where there are hair color swatches of some sort. this could be in a hair salonor where ever you buy a hair color. this test is best done by covering your hair with awhite piece of fabric and in natural daylight with no makeup on. after you put on the white piece of fabric,what you'll want to do is leave a strand of your hair out. if your hair color currently is not blonde,choose a hair color swatch that aligns with your skin undertone and matches your desiredblonde hair color. so in this instance i have
a cool skin undertone and i have chosen acool blonde. if you have a warm skin undertone, you'll want to select a warm blonde. just also note that you more than likely willnot lift or tone to match the hair color swatches, but, they are good enough for this test. if your hair color currently is blonde, you'llwant to select a hair color swatch that best matches your natural hair color and your skinundertone. so if my hair color was currently blonde and i have a cool skin undertone, iwould select a cool medium to dark brown. if your hair color is say a lighter brownand you have a warm undertone, you would select a warm light brown.
once you have your hair color swatches selected,what you'll want to do is look at yourself
in the mirror and compare the hair color swatchwith your current hair color. ask yourself which one is adding a sparkle to your eyecolor, vibrancy to your coloring and which one appears to be in more balance and harmonywith your coloring. i hope the test in this video helps you toassess whether blonde gives off your best.
