before scanning or copying from an hp deskjet3700 series printer, you must properly load your document or photointo the scanner. first, power on the printer. if making a copy, load the type of paper youwant to print on into the input tray. load the photo or document you want to scanor copy into the scanner, print side up.
where to get color prints, make sure the edge of the document or photois straight and flush against the paper guide on the rightside of the scanner. the printer pulls the document or photo partiallyinto the scanner and the scan light brightens. if the scanner is not pulling in the document or photo, remove it from the scanner and reload it,
holding it from a different location and loadingit with a slightly different angle. with your document or photo properly loaded, scan from your computer with hp or third partyscanning software. make copies of your document or photo by pressing the
start copy black or start copy color buttonon the printer control panel. to increase the number of copies, press thebutton the same number of times as the number of copies you want to print. the printer scans your document or photo andprints the copy.
