bright red hair color permanent

hey guys sarah here so a lot of you havebeen asking about how i dye and maintain my hair and so today i was going toexplain everything to you and take you along with me to my last salon visityou will be really surprised actually it how low maintenance my hair is i went to thesalon twice in 2015 once in january and once in november and the rest of thetime i retouched it at home maybe once

bright red hair color permanent, every five to six months so if you wantto know how to do it i keep watching first and foremost to get this hair color ihave to bleach my hair because my natural hair color is basically darkbrown or black and to get the pink or any lighter color you always have tobleach and so i go to the salon and get

bleaching done and i usually have itdone in the so-called ombre or balayage style sometimes they use foil or if theyare very skilled at the painting they just paint directlyonto the hair you can see here where it starts at the top and it graduallyfades but there's definitely like different sections where it's still gotcolor but it's very very subtle goes into a very bright pink at thebottom now that's the ombre effect so that when it actually grows out this hasbeen going out for a couple of months there is no demarcation and that'sreally really important if you don't want to go back and retouch your hair all the timeif you had it bleached straight up to the

scalp you have a very very very strongdemarcation line which means you need to go back to the salon two weeks a monthlater and its a lot of work and a big hassle it costs a lot of money and so there's a lotof reasons why i have done this way which means that i don't spend verymuch money and i don't have to go to a salon and i really really really superlow maintenance and kind of cheap so that's the reason why i do also it suits you betterbecause you keep your natural hair color at the top if hold my hair back i stilllook normal because this is my hair color if i had hair that was like thethis up here obviously it looks very

fake on my face but somehow when you include your natural hair color and the crazy you like you combine the twoit looks much more i don't know now natural i don't know it justsuits you better so i do recommend that after i have the bleaching done in thisombre or balayage style i have a deposit dye done and so the brand that i use fordepositing color is a elumen by goldwell which the australian brand andthis is a professional high-performance haircolor that oxident free so itdoesn't oxidized there's no hydrogen peroxide it doesn't chemically there's no chemical process that happenson your hair it's literally a deposit

dye now normally people use manic panicwhich is a very light deposit dye but that washes out really quickly and so the effectthat i want is a really long lasting dye and elumen will literally last likefive or six months even beyond it just depends on how much you put on it likehow you use it but it lasts a really long time and for the most part i justneed to retouch my roots because you know i've got like little grays uphere or you just want that pink tone to still graduate into your hair and so literally i don't have to do much which is amazing i swear by itsincredible this dye is awesome i just

can't even tell you so we get this done at the salon it'sreally cool because the hair artists are trained to do slices of color andmultiple tones so you have more dimension in your hair so currently in myhair i have a burgundy red and purple and some that are mixed together so ithas a lot of dimension but when i retouch it at home if i would like to keepsomething a bit more vibrant and i cant get to salon i will literally just put onecolor on and it's fine and the way that still works how to because i have thebalayage hair which has a lot of dimension in the bleaching process so that with onecolor it still looks really good

so now gonna show you my last salon visit which was in singapore because singapore has a elumen and goldwell products very readily available along with products like all olaplex which is a magical bondmultiplier that will save it chemically treated hair from breaking and in korea we don't really have these things just yet and also this style is little differentand it was much more readily available in singapore when i went and thank youso much jason brown from blow + bar for fitting me during my busy schedule a digital fashion week he is a miracle worker this hair i'm really really happy with and so far this color is at least two months old now two months two months of doingnothing to it and this is the color now if

i used manic panic this would be gone just gone and so its just amazingamazing amazing amazing go check them out if you're in singapore otherwise askyour salon for a elumen and when you do retouching at home you can also order itonline illegally i guess because it is aprofessional color you're not really supposed to use it unless you have a license but i do have my ways and found it online warning though if you do try to dye yourhair with elumen it is very staining it is like a jelly and sticks to things and it will stain like no other so make sure you put vaseline aroundyour hairline on your ears wear gloves

cover the absolute floor its crazy so you have to be really really careful if you do it i recommend going to the salon unless you have great experience in dying your hair but i retouch at home and it's not perfect but you knowfor half of the year i will make do and then the other half i will visit a salon so up next up is the section where you get to see my salon experience i do once or twice ayear alright check it out as my hair has been processing jason got me a coffee which is singaporean style its so cute its got its own purse is this really common this lay down style of bed in singapore? yes

i love it so what do you think? it's great right! ok here we go we're gonna do it now it's not really this hair tricked you! we're putting colors on the bleached part to create variation of reddish tone there is purple, there's a pink, reddish violet, one looks like ketchup yay we have ketchup just letting the elumen color sit with heat for about 30 minutes

then were gonna take it out and see what what it looks like the magic potion! besides the magic potion of elumen. another magic potion! i hope you liked it as you can see thisis a pretty fresh look but i have actually left it for months and monthsand months like my bali trip thats pretty old i didn't retouch that in ages so yeah i love elumen thank you jason for doing such a great job if you're in singapore you should definitely checkthat place out its cool cuz you can have a drink and get your hair done it superchill also if you like this kind of
