what's up guys it's griffin and welcome back to my channel for today's video i have something pretty special i have been getting really into makeup lately and kylie jenner just released her lip kit i got the lip kit today and i thought i'd do an unboxing
color of lipstick for fair skin, and show you guys how it's packaged and how much i like it. if i do like it. i don't know if i'm going to yet! i got 4 colors. i decided not to get true brown or the red color because neither of those colors match or go well with my skin tone. so i got the other 4 colors. posie k, koko k, dolce k and kandy k
first you open it and it has kylie and at the top it has kyliecosmetics.com it's really cool because i think she's going to release an entire cosmetics line she actually just released a new valentines line and i'm excited to look at it. posie k looks a little bit darker on here than it did online it might just be because i have a really fair skin tone and kylie looks tan so it could look a little bit different. kandy k looks amazing as usual. koko k looks really pretty like a nice nude mauve pink. dolce k looks pretty dark compared to what i thought it would look like. so now we'll on them up and we'll start with dolce k
honestly the packaging is really beautiful and i think it looks really nice oh it smells really good. i've heard that it smelled good but i wasn't sure. it smells a little bit like a vanilla cupcake. now we're opening kandy k this is what it looks like. i mean i'm really white so these are probably going to look a little bit darker on me than they would the average person. so these are two of the colors from the original set. so now we're going to open the two from the valentines collection that she just released. posie k looks a lot darker on the packaging than it looks in the bottle but that doesn't go for what it looks like on the skin because i haven't tried it out yet. i think the one i'm most excited for is either kandy k or koko k because both are nice light colors
this is koko k and ithink it'll go really nicely with my skin tone so now it's time for the swatch test. we'll go lightest to darkest on my forearm the lightest would be koko k. this is a beautiful color. i'm going to show you guys the swatches after i'm all done i'm excited to see how they dry. kandy k is absolutely stunning. i think it's probably going to end up being my favorite. i think it's really cool that she created this because it's a really nice nude color that everyones been looking for and no one necessarily knew what color it was we all thought it was like velvet teddy or like different colors from mac but none of those turned out the way they turned out on kylie so
i think it's really cool that she released her own line so we could see what color she really does enjoy wearing. yeah posie is a little bit darker than it looks. i think dolce is the darkest i'd end up going with my lips because like i said i don't really do dark colors. maybe you've noticed in my videos that i've never really done dark colors. this is koko k then kandy k then posie k and this is dolce k they're all beautiful colors. they're drying pretty slow actually but they're matte and i think from what i've heard they stay on all day now it's time to actually test the product on my lips i know it's kind of ratchet but i have my naked 3 palette and i'm using that as a mirror
so i don't have to get up and come back i'll start with koko k and we're going to be testing the lip liner as well because all the videos i've seen of the kylie jenner lip kit i've not seen many test the liner okay what i'm noticing is that the liner goes on really smooth and i' had heard that the lip liner wasn't as good as the lip gloss but i would have to disagree with that we'll have to see how it lasts but i'm really digging it so far so now my lips are lined and i went in and colored a little bit of my lips in
now i'll use koko k the actual lip color what i can tell you right now is that it goes on really smooth. i think the brush could've been a little more flexible because your lips aren't your lips aren't firm like a bone. they're supposed to be full and squishy i guess this is kind of a harder brush so it doesn't so i would've liked the brush to be softer but it's good for getting in specific areas like the corners or your cupids bow so let's see how this dries. i'm definitely obsessed. that's safe to say
i'm really digging this koko k i thought it was going to be a little bit lighter but i'm actually really liking this color i don't think i'd want it to be lighter at this point so this is what it looks like. i definitely would suggest the color koko k if this is any indication of how the other colors are going to be then i am really going to love the rest of the colors. it comes off pretty easy you do have to do it a couple of times and rub kind of hard but overall i really enjoyed that one. next
up is kandy k. here is the lip liner. it looks a little bit darker than the actual lip color which most liners are but let's test it i think a lot of people are going for the kylie jenner lip shape which is an over lined lip or lip injections and this product makes it really easy to over line your lips it doesn't make it super difficult to the point where you're like i can't do this i think it would be really easy to do this color is amazing i don't think it's necessarily that sought after kylie jenner colored lip next up is posie k. i'm a little worried about this one because i think unless the color
is a bright lighter pink i don't think it looks that great on me but i'm going to try it out so this one has a very visible lip line the others look a little more natural so i think this color is going to be a little more vibrant and a deeper pink than i'm used to i actually really like the color like i didn't think it would look that great considering i didn't think this color would look very good on me i'm kind of regretting not getting the true brown or the mary jo
i kinda wish i got those colors now i think the amazing thing about this one is that it doesn't dry out your lips it keeps your lips pretty soft and i feel like it doesn't even feel like it's there a lot of people think the colors are really similar to the color pop or even made by the same company but i disagee. i think the color pop dries out your lips and you have to to do like a lip scrub after and even like jeffree star dries out your lips so you have to do
lip scrubs and keep your lips exfoliated but with this i think you just take it off and it's just done you don't have to worry about after care or pre care i'm wondering if this one is a different formula than the others because it is a little bit more difficult to get off so the last color i have is dolce k i'm really excited for this one. it looks like a little bit of a darker version of the kandy k. first impression i opened it and it's broken it's a little bit broken. the top isn't a pointy top
and i'm not sure if you twist it it doesn't look like it's one that you sharpen which you wouldn't get a lot out of this so i'm not entirely sure because this is broken it's a lot harder to apply i don't really enjoy the fact that it's broken because i did pay kind of a lot of money for it but let's just put the actual lip color over it and see what that looks like this looks very very brown i've never liked a brown or like stone colored lipstick but i'm a little obsessed with this i think this would look really good for like a red carpet or like an event you're going to
like i go to random events all the time and i think it would be perfect for that i actually love it and i think it looks good with my eyeshadow i think this color is a little darker than expected but i really do enjoy it. i think it doesn't look as dark if you're tan and i am not tan so it definitely looks a little weird on me honestly and i don't say this lightly i would rate this all a 10 out of 10 because it is all beautiful and amazing
