this video shows how to load plain and specialty paper in your hp officejet 6810 or officejet pro6830 e-all-in-one printer. you can print on plain paper, legal size paper,envelopes, index cards, and photo paper. before printing, make sure the printer ison a hard, flat surface. follow these steps to print on letter, a4,and legal size paper.
hp 4600 color laser printer, first, lift the output tray. grasp the handle on the input tray, and pullout the tray. next, remove any paper from the input tray, and slide out the paper width guides as far as possible.
if you are loading legal size paper, slide the latch on the input tray to the right,then lower the front of the tray. align a stack of paper by tapping it on a flat surface. place the paper into the tray with the printside facing down. slide the paper width guides inward untilthey stop at the edge of the paper. do not push the guides in so tightly thatthey start to bend the paper. push the input tray into the printer untilit locks into place. a message displays on the control panel askingif you changed the paper. if you did not change the paper size or type, touch maintain,
and continue on to the next step. if you did change the paper size or type,touch change on the printer control panel. touch paper size, and scroll to and touchyour paper size. touch paper type, and touch the type of paperyou are going to use. then touch done. lower the output tray, and pull out the trayextender before printing. follow these steps for printing on envelopes. remove any paper from the input tray, align a stack of envelopes by tapping it on a flat surface.
next, place the envelopes in the center ofthe tray with the envelope flap on the left and facing up. if the flap is on the short end of the envelope, place the envelope in the center of the traywith the flap away from the printer do not stack the envelopes higher than the yellow, dotted lines on the sides of the paper tray. slide the paper width guides inward until the stop at the edge of the envelopes. do not push the guides in so tightly that they start to bend the envelopes. make sure that the envelopes are centeredin the tray.
push the tray into the printer until it locks in place. choose the correct paper size and type onthe printer control panel. follow these steps to print on cards and photo paper. align a stack of cards or photo paper by tappingit on a flat surface. next, place the cards or photo paper print-sidedown in the center of the tray. for photo paper with a perforated tab, place the paper in the tray print-side downwith the perforated tab closest to you.
do not stack the cards or photo paper higherthan the yellow, make sure that the paper is centered in the tray.
