hello~~~~ today i'm going to be testing outthis product. this the the l'oreal root cover up. so yes, it's the l'oreal root cover up. it's a temporary grey concealer spray. i have the colour dark brown.
oribe shampoo for beautiful color ingredients, and it says seconds to flawless roots. no more grays, no more compromises. lightweight, no smudging or sticky residuewhen dry. and it lasts for one shampoo.
it's ammonia free, peroxide free, and no syntheticdyes. so it's actually really interested, when thecap is off it's this tiny little spray thing. so i'm way too close to my hand but i'm tryingto get it on camera. you can see it's just a dark brown colour. the instructions say to shake well, hold thecan 10-15cm from the hair, spray the color onto new growth and partly through the lengthof the hair to blend the colour. i have a couple grey hairs coming throughat my crown. what is with all these hair flakes i get? and if i uncover my shame here, i have beengrowing this out for you guys, just so we
can test this product. the other thing i'm thinking this productwould be good for is for covering up any part lines you might have, depending on how youdo your hair. so if you're doing something a little crazywith braids or something... maybe this is going to help cover up some of those lines. i'm going to focus, to start with, kind ofon this side of my hair. i always make a really funny face when i spray>< i don't know, hopefully i don't get any on my skin. how should we do this?
i feel like thats going to make it worse... opps... well it covers well, you can see i got someon my skin a little bit more. and yea... seems to have done a good job. seems to blend all right with my hair. maybe still drying a little bit. let's switch over to the other side. so there is half sprayed, half not sprayed. and actually it's quite easy to control.
it's a little bit easier than i expected. i think it has to do with this long nozzle. just going to do the other side. you can see it's definitely taking down thatpart line i have so i do think it would be good for covering up braids if you don't wantto use like eye shadows or something. just going to blend a little bit better. you can kind of hold it a little closer thanrecommended to really get precise. so i think with practice you could becomereally good at this. and not getting it all over your face.
we'll see if i can do that... i feel like some colour has transferred backto my forehead. this is probably something that you do wantto do before makeup. just so you're not shifting that stuff around. i feel like it's a little bit dirty looking. all right, so that looks pretty good! any errors with it i'd say are just user error,my fault. it does look nice, i like the finish. i think the colour blends well.
it might be a little bit dark for my hair, but my roots tend to be a little bit darker than my ends anyway. so now i'm just going to check in throughoutthe day and see how long it stands up for. and maybe i'll keep it in over night and wecan take a peek at it tomorrow morning after my sleep. hey guys so checking in on the hair - i'veparted it where the greys are. you can see it has nice full coverage. it does have like a slight texture feel toit. and i can't tell if i've been getting it inmy hands or not, i think it does come off
very slightly. the colour still looks good. maybe a couple hairs popping through. beside from that it looks really good. it does the trick really nice and easily. and i will check back tomorrow morning tosee what it looks like after being on all night. because it does say it lasts for one shampoo...so we'll see if that is true when you only shampoo maybe twice a week :)
hey guys checking in the next morning. got my glam glow on, the mud mask. it feels pretty normal. when i go over to the spot where the mostamount of spray is it does feel like there is a powder on it. although i think it seems to have.. it has a dry texture feel. and it does rub off slightly as well. i don't have white pillows so i couldn't checkif any got on my pillows.
this stuff gets a thumbs up from me. hee hee hee. so there we have my look at the l'oreal rootcover up. i do like it i would recommend it. it's easy to do, you can control it reallywell with that tiny spray. the can is a little bit small so that's kindof like a downside. and i actually compared it with the brownbaptiste dry shampoo. i was looking at the ingredients... and theyare actually different. so this has a lot of starch in it, and seemsto have no starch, but a lot of colour and
a little bit of silicone or dimethecone. i don't know anything about chemistry butit doesn't seem to have any starch like baptiste does. if you do decide that you want to try thisguy out or you just enjoyed it, please give this video a thumbs up.
