in this clip we're going to be making soapon a rope. and we're going to start with a chamomile ball that we made in our last segment, and a fun thing we can do with these is to add a rope to them. just by using a littleparing knife, make a little hole in the ball, or where one of the cracks is before it startedto settle. and i'm just going to work that knot of this piece of cotton roping that i'vehad, down into there, into the hole. and i'm
natural colorants for melt and pour soap, going to take some warm water, and i'm goingto squeeze that around, before it finishes setting hard. this is just a cotton rope, and you can cut it to whichever length you like, and as soon as this dries real hard, you're going to have a neat thing to hang onto your soap! another recipe i have hereis this oatmeal spice. we're going to make
it into a bar mold, and we're going to usethe same type of cotton string. and to this recipe i have here, about four ounces of theavocado cucumber soap base that's melted, and to that i'm going to add a teaspoon ofapricot seed, a tablespoon of ground up oatmeal. and then i have a collection of spices here, about a quarter teaspoon of cloves, a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon, and a quarter teaspoonof nutmeg. this is a wonderful and fragrant soap. stir all those spices in there. it'sa great recipe for a soap on a rope.and we're going to pour it into our mold, as we have our knot tucked into our mold there.we're just going to pour the soap on top of it, and we're going to make sure that that'stucked way down in there, and we're going
to set that to dry. our oatmeal spice barhas set up hard here, and is ready to pop
out. we've got our rope embedded in there, and this is really handy to hang in the shower, as is our soap chamomile ball soap on a rope!these make fun gifts, and that's how you make soap on a rope.
